In an interview Friedkin staged it and not far from it another one broke out minutes after his staging so the sequence shot and the other one that happened were combined.

Un des meilleurs film de Friedkin/one of the best movie directed by Hurricane Billy.Great cast:Roy Scheider,Francisco Rabal...and fascinating soudtrack.Merci

WIDESCREEN, REMASTERED PICTURE AND SOUNDTRACK!
Friedkin's masterpiece (and personal favorite) finally gets the treatment it deserves.
