Lungs can turn black for many many reasons ,breathing in fumes,.... radiation treatment. Medications. Radon. i do not support smoking i am saying see other causes also. COPD can be inherited ect.

Wow alcohol, slow down lady. Alcohol in small doses has been proven to be beneficial, specifically red wine. It's not as black and white as that.

Hey, I am a pothead and I know deep down that when I do massive bong hits or hold for sustained periods of time there must be gross residue left in my body. Just look at a bong after a few uses... it ain't vitamins and sunshine.

@maygenta Well the thing is why smoke in the first place? I know some people do it to chill out but if smoking is a additional risk to black lungs then don't smoke it, not saying your a smoker or anything.

By smoking, I am doing my part for the environment. I will die sooner and use less resources in my old age, and other peoples' taxes will not pay for me. You're welcome :D
