FOR THE IGNORANT: I studied this syndrome. Prada-willi syndrome is an uncontrolled appetite due to lesions in the ventromedial hypothalamus. Well, in other words --> the normal homeostatic regulation of body weight through the hunger drive is not working properly! There are several symptoms that effect these people with the syndrome - motivationally, physically, cognitively & hormonally. Hope you understand.

@VpOsiris you need to be educated ( not to mention Bitch Slapped ) search the internet for a movie called "Can't Stop Eating " it may even be here on YouTube. Prader Willi affects only a trace amount of our population due to the fact that it is very, very rare. So VpOsiris - do us and yourself a favor and research this before you make comments that make you look like a complete Moron. Hope this helps you to become less ignorant about genetic disorders - and 1 more thing there is NO CURE for PWS

For those of you that want to understand more about this Genetic disorder..search the internet for a BBC special called " Can't Stop Eating" it explains in great detail the struggle these people face in everyday life. We sometimes mock things we don't understand..I think the movie should be shown in schools worldwide. Josh, you are a tough young man to battle and keep control of this disease. there are many people out there that know how hard you work to live with it, and we support you.
