Blockbuster: The end of big blue! Parting words and commandments from the staff to customers!!

First Hollywood Video, now Blockbuster....it was only a matter of time before Blockbuster tightened the noose on the million plus stores and kept the bigger ones. So renters will need to drive an extra few blocks to their new Blockbuster, as a final farewell we have made some commandments that every customer should know and value.

You put in six years at the company...I put in THREE TIMES that long. (Yup, 18 years!)

I have seen a lot of good and a lot of BAD.

In recent months, I had seen warning signs of the end coming at my last store when they started selling stuff like books, flash drives, and heel balm (like what does THAT have do with movies?). There are only THREE Blockbuster stores left in my local area now and I'm pretty sure that at least TWO of them will go soon since the company plans to 182 more stores.

Wow do you feel like an idiot when you are wrong? Also when you can't even put a proper sentence together? And you were going to be a manager? That is what is wrong with blockbuster almost all the time the managers are the dumbest people in the stores, not to mention by far the laziest.

I hired on at BBV as a "store manager in training smit" the store I was going to manage was closed and the training store I was at closed.

ALL BBV will be closed by May 1, 2011

Lol I closed 2 stores in naples florida then finally quit ive never looked back!!!! i can't wait to laugh as i watch corporate burning down to the ground!

I used to be a Blockbuster employee.I walked out when my store was holdin a liquidation sale i was so sick of their shit i was there a year and a half and they treated me like garbage. The first day I went in for an interview i asked to be placed on direct deposit and all the time that went by every time i reminded my manager he never put me on it. BLOCKBUSTER BLOWS!
