It's a little known fact that Elvis Presley patterned his moves in the 60s after Jackie Wilson. This was very evident in Return To Sender from the movie Girls, Girls, Girls. James Brown, being a contemporary of Jackie, had similar moves.

On the "Million Dollar Quartet" cd Elvis talks about watching Jackie in Vegas when he was with Billy Ward's Dominoes performing "Don't Be Cruel" so differently that Elvis copied it for his final appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in Jan. of 1957.

JACKIE WILSON its okay I will always remember that you are THE TRUE pioneer.
You influenced elvis, james brown and michael jackson alot.
BTW I LOOOOOOOOOOVE james brown and michael jackson.
and they are pioneers themselves.
James brown is obviously influenced by jackie wilson and little richard and michael jackson is obviously inspired by james brown, BUT they all are able to be geniuses and pioneer their own persona and BRAND!
