Special Effects 9: Futuristic HUD, Soul Removal, and Disintegration

"Don't mess with Nerds, or their imagination"

First off just to clarify my position on this matter, I'm actually one of the biggest nerds there are, I just made the story to be coherent with the effects : )

Once a nerd begins to be picked on by some bullies, he is forced to take refuge in the most powerful place of all: his mind.

This is another in my series of special effects videos. I used three tutorials from Andrew Kramer's videocopilot and based a short film around them. While I followed the tutorials, I also tried and mix it up a little. For sound I used a combination of Pro Scores, Designer Sound FX, Freesound.net, and http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/ for some royalty free music. Enjoy and Subscribe if you like what you see!
