people had been without power for 2 weeks when i got there from nc.....i was with davey tree. and we where staying at the high school....in a van........it was perrty bad ....i seen the paper mill on here ...jus brings back memorys........hope all is well....

i live in bogalusa. i was staying on highway 21 through all of this. it was bad. my sister dehigrated in the heat. we slept in the camper, some people had it pretty bad. we didn't have it as bad as some ppl. we didn't get looted either. this is to all of u watching this that had to sleep in the heat or had it really bad: i am sorry. if i could i would've let u sleep in the camper too, i don't care who u are, no one deserves that. i am truly srry!

Man I remember that hurricane Because I sat on my front porch watching trees twist in the air and fall in Bogalusa and one hit the corner of my house!

:[ that makes me upset.. i live in bog too. i cringe at the thought of katrina.. or any hurricane.. you should came down by lees creek where i live.. we were trapped in our yard for a week. the only way we could get out was climbing through 3 trees

i grew up in bogalusa, went through camille there. what katrina did broke my heart. thanks for putting this video up.

Perfect song for the vid.
I live in Bogalusa and fortunately, my house did not get damaged (except for my fence that got messed up) but the house next to us got a tree through the roof. It is so sad thinking about those bad first few days where it was hard to adjust to the new 'scenery'.
