Vote! Harvest Moon Animal Parade, or Tree of Tranquility?

Hello! Well, in the vid I do say that I will tell you my opinion on which game I enjoyed playing more, and why. You are probably surprised because it's actually ToT!

I just felt like it was more fun and addicting. Harvest Moon Animal Parade didn't want me want to play it as much. The story is also way too easy, and you can finish the whole thing by the first summer if you really try. And in Tree of Tranquility, it took me over 3 years to finish the story. I also like the graphics better in ToT. They were much more realistic, especially the people and the animals- I liked the way most of the people and scenery looked better in ToT, too.

They also ruined some of the peoples' personalities, I think. Especially Chase. In ToT, he was funny, adorable, sweet and sarcastic. In this, he is sort-of mean, and not as adorable (in looks AND personality), and is not even that shy, which just takes away so much of him. I'm still going to marry him, though, I just liked him better in ToT.

Gill is also not that mean, and neither is Luna or Selena. Candace is not shy at all, which kind of took away from her personality, and everything Maya says has the word "food" in it, and the only stuff Toby talks about is fishing. Hmph. This is just my opinion, but did anyone notice that the characters (especially Chase, again!), were less colorful? And also that Julius and Wizard's eyes look small and beady.

It is too hard to get things, like upgrading tools, and you must use material or more material for some things, and it's hard to get (sorry if I worded that a little confusingly). It is too hard to get money and affection, but too easy to get it for animals. People also say the same things all the time, and even say the same things after you have rang the bells, for a long time! In ToT, they stopped saying stuff related to things that happened, for instance a rainbow or a child being born, in 5 days! Not a whole season! The kids are also all the same, except for they're hair and eye color. How exciting.

I did like, though, that there are more outfits in this game, you can change your child's outfits, and that there are more rival kids. But that's pretty much it.

well tot was more adicting but had terrible waiting screens, ap has great graffics and more things to do, but to get somewhere it taks to long even if u have an animal, well this is really hard but tot bc it was more addictive but i still really want to say ap so how bout top or at a mixture of both

AP is better cause

1. THE BACHELORS ARE MORE ROMANTIC!!! In AP you actually CELEBRATE UR BIRTHDAY HAVE A HONEYMOON and theres a childs day!!!

ANIMAL PARADE!!!! cause i mean the events are muchhh more in depth and more bachlors and bachlorettes. But i did enjoy tot but if i could go back in time i would buy ap first and prolly never get tot. Thats the truth of my opinion :/

Animal Parade has better grapics, you can have two kids, there is a camera, even when you finish there are alot of side quests adn randomcutscenes to unlock or complete, and your children have personalites!

Actually i perfer animal parade. It is the exact opposite to me. The characters were more dull in tot than ap. There r some things i liked better in tot, but overall ap ( animal parade) is my first choice:)

However, Tree of Tranquility goes by far too fast. I hate being a work-a-holic in a game and that is the first game that has got me to not playing it anymore. I managed to go through one year, marrying Jin and having a daughter and it's annoying since I have nothing to do but take care of my animals every day. I have 15 animals and I don't have time to do anything else when I finish. It's also harder, IMO, gaining affection to people/animals in that game than Animal Parade.

Animal Parade! It's the first Harvest Moon game that doesn't finish quickly! I'm glad that it takes almost a half an hour to finish a day. It goes by quickly if you do a lot of things. This also gives you a lot of free time to whatever it is you want to do. Plus.. Hello?! You get two kids! Finally, I don't have to dispute over which gender I want! I can have BOTH. Although ToT has a better mining system, AP winds by a LANDSLIDE.

AP cause theres more ppl and u can have a honymoon take pics and the town is pretty friendship with animals is easy to get and theres an actual preacher pary but i hate how everything is so far apart ToT because u can do partime jobs but i hate how time goes by way to fast and animal friendship is so hard im not even trying anymore im on year 5 going on year 6 and i cant get my kid to leave ive done everything else and i cant get a 2 child its so dumb i can go through 2 months in a day i like AP

AP is in some way better cause u can take pictures the clothes r so much better u never really know when your kid is going to grow up and ppl say that the story is but its not the only way u can beat it easily is if u already know what your doing and the town is so pretty i hate AP cause if u marry the with or wizard u dont get a honymoon or alot of ppl at your wedding its done at night and i like it that your spouse will do work on your farm and the whole animal whisel and theres a precher pary

Deffo AP :) Its cute you get to have 2 kids and honeymoons, the confesions. The clothes are WAY cuter, and I like the graphics better in AP :)

there area lot of pros and cons of each, but i only like ap a little bit more. a lot of people are talking about how much less personality the characters have, but that's not all true. in ap, the harvest sprites (one of my favorite parts of hm) have more personality and you can actually talk to them and befriend them after you coplete their mission. but, yes, most characters' personality isnt as good...

my all-time favorite tot/ap character is julius, but he is too annoying in tot.

The only negative adjustment they should improve is the camera, really, you can pass you own house without knowing.

It's more Likely and logical that animal parade is better, since it is a new and an update to tree of tranquility, there is way more land to explore and you can marry the harvest goddess like I did, you cam also marry the wizard or the witch, I mentioned them since there story is most romantic, (that my vote.)
