i found some con between Honda and BMW, brand new honda civic type-R cost RM200K +/- in Malaysia, while the old/used bmw e36 328i cost about RM30-42K, the honda 2.0L 4-cylinder i-VTEC type-R was 225PS and 215Nm, the bmw M52B28 2.8L 6-cylinder Vanos was 193hp and 280Nm in stock condition. the M52B28 engine can get higher POWER and torque with US M3 cam, aFe CAI, DME software, M50 intake, injector; The 2.8L bmw e36 328i still have better fuel economy than these 2.0L 4-cylinder i-VTEC honda.
