erm, what happened is this. HorseSlaughter became illegal in the US. Not saying it doesn't still HAPPEN, but it's black-market. "Government approved" Horse Slaughter is now done in Mexico and Canada for ship overseas and to people who eat it here. HS has far more rules and regs. than rodeo does. Rodeo doesn't have ANY against abuse. I'd rather an animal was killed, than tortured/terrified/brutalized first and then killed. RodeoAbuse = Horsemanshit.

Wow, such naivete from the pro-rodeo folk! Against slaughter, but pro-rdoeo? What an oxymoron. True, real horse abuse starts with how each animal is treated, while in our care. How is cramming a prey species in a chute, and then shocking/tightening the bucking strap NOT abuse? What happened to hosemanship? Rodeo killed it.

As we said, you think rodeo is so perfect and grand and shouldn't be exposed for its brutality, while it supports the slaughter you are so against, but you still see fit to criticize us for wanting to stop the suffering of animals for entertainment. Sounds like you're a bit two-faced.

@SHARKonlineorg i did a big research paper on the slaughter or horses in the US...so there for i had to find & watch as much as i could. you and your people are to busey bad mouthing rodeo why dont you send someone to a slaughter house and see what you uncover. just because i support rodeo doesnt mean i support this issue or make me a "hollow" person.
