@cooky577 have faith those days will return

Braddles & Sticks before they came to Carlton, some damn good players came here in the old days to play VFL from SA, I remember seeing Peter Motley play when he first came to Carlton at the same time as Bradley & Kernahan, he looked the better out of the 3 early days, who knows what he would have done? if he'd not had that terrible car accident, much respect to the SANFL.

Wish you could buy these grand finals on dvd

Russell Johnston was only supposed to be on loan from VFL club Collingwood but ended up staying for 207 games, captained 2 premierships (1988 & 89) and was named lead ruck in the Port Magpies greatest ever team (1870-2000). Not a bad loan I'd say.
And I'm a West Adelaide supporter. Damn I hated Port winning all the time.
Ahhhh! The good old days, when Port could beat anyone and everyone. The way Football should be played.
