A Geometry for Teachers class at the University of Washington had us record a video of us teaching. I couldn't bear to do a boring presentation of me standing in front of a chalkboard explaining the pythagorean theorem, so I made this video. It is edited down - so it's not for scientific scrutiny!

1990's technology (2 VCRs and an audio mixer) all stored on a crappy VHS tape for 12 years, so don't expect HD quality!

  • This is a good idea, though I thought the part with "the captain" was a little too long. Have you considered updating it? I think it would be interesting to see the full explanation.
