There are only two emotions we as humans feel, they are fear and love. All other emotions are derived from these two. Fear limits our perception of the world around us on all levels of consciousness, whereas love expands it. Fear can be summed up as the rejection of various aspects of existence while love is the acceptance of those aspects. We can spread love across the world by accepting others and accepting what happens around us in this world; that however does not mean we should become a part of everything we accept, we only have to accept it.

Truly, the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Don't reject your fear - embrace it, accept it. But as you accept it, place your intent on living in love.

I've had problems with fear in my life, here's what I do to dispel it... I simply think to myself, "Let the fear ravage me however it wants, I'm done trying to restrain it. So let it destroy if it wants... I care no more." And I let go. And then... the fear starts to dissipate. The hard part is sustaining this state of mind long enough to leave all of the fear behind you. To do this, recall something that dispels the fear - a song, a person you love, etc. - and focus on that thing in your mind.

Love is a feeling of interconnection. Ultimately everything is interconnected. The most basic observation of yourself and surroundings will reveal this. So, all the feelings of isolation, like hatred and insecurity, are ultimately illusions, because we really are interconnected. I'm glad I can feel pain and sadness, though, because it only gives more meaning to love.
