I thought of all of NC's songs, this one could be turned into a pop song the easiest. I really love This Side, both the song and the album. Still probably my fav NC record, but only because I've got a lot of really great memories from when I first heard it. Anyone who knows me knows that this is my favorite band. This is a tribute to them!

Some people label Nickel Creek as being "country" especially because there's a mandolin in the band - but it's really more of a mix of pop, folk, rock, and alternative.... it's a toss up between a lot of genres, but yeah, mostly people say they're country or bluegrass... too simplified, in my opinion. I hate "genre"s though, lol =D
