This one is for all those Megadeth fans out there that enjoy some of the less mainstream Megadeth songs. Originally recored for the "Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight" soundtrack, it was also packaged on the band's "Hidden Treasures" EP (which is where I 1st heard it).

I've only captured the first couple minutes of the song... because, basically, that's the part I enjoy the most.

There's three guitar parts in the recording to make things sound a bit more full. Two of the three parts are nothing more than chords and harmonics.

Also, I think my old camera is finally starting to die as the video seems a bit more jumpy to me than usual. Oh well, nothing is perfect ;)

Hope someone enjoys it!

  • Good stuff as always. I should try this one. Always good to hear (and see it played) pure acoustic renditions performed of this style of music. You should try an acoustic cover of Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer. Love that song, and it sounds pretty good acoustic even without the solos... you could pull off a great version with the layering of chords/etc you do.

  • Thanks for listening and commenting! It's always nice to hear that people enjoy my videos :)

Can't say I'm very familiar with Slayer, but I've always got my ears open for new songs to learn. I'll have to find it and check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Megadeth songs are hard to play.

  • I always find it harder to learn megadeth songs than metallica songs, in bass playing

  • @DawnPatroler yee you are right there are to hards :S

  • Nice. Very nice in fact.. Would be keen to learn this myself - was this played on standard tuning?

  • Nice cover, liked it :)

For those ranting about tabs: this is a cover, not a clone. All chords are in the correct tonality and follow the melody like the original. That's more than enough.

  • the power chords part is kinda wrong. sorry. but it's a semi-good interpretation.

  • bad ass!

  • whers the end of the song?
