Colt did not start making the Police Positive until 1907.

also no .22 will ever beat a .32 800 fps? no its around 1100 .32 have a high velocity and a re very accurate you need to do some research.

this is not a 100 year old revolver. i own 2 original colt .32 revolvers one has been re blued the other is original it looks nickle plated or stainless. wich would mean this is a reproduction they did reproduce these in the 60's. mine being original will fire long and standard size .32 rounds i also own a colt .32 hammerless semmi wich will only fire shorts. and the sites are desined for quick shots meaning you point and fire.

@oldie4 32 colt new police is 32 s&w long like 38 colt new police both are s&w cartriges 38 colt new police is 38 s&w with flatnose lead bullets 32long colt is a rimfire style heeled bullet an actual colt 32 caliber cartrige, look up why colt didint want to put s&w on there revolvers new police instead of 38 s&w & 32s&w long

The serial number is on the swing out arm peice next to the cylinder when you open the revolver.

@johnm8h your right they dont have a lot of stopping power but they are hyper lethal a lead projectile that is relativly small will enter your body. The part in lethality is you relly cant predict the path of the projectile in the body and cannot acuratly determi what internal organs were damanged. Its one of the most deadly in its own methad.
