This starts, I think, at 8pm Eastern Time. The crawl at the bottom has Indiana and Kentucky results well under way, and those polls closed at 6pm Eastern. CNN's coverage seems rather stiff. The coverage sure has changed a lot over the years. A lot more graphics and visuals now, as well as more in studio commentary. I left in commercials at the end of this part.
I wish there were election coverage of every cycle on youtube

I agree, either Colin Powell or Bob Dole would have been President

What a great night that was and it was great to see history repeat itself this past November.

@swami1 I am talking about the campaign as a whole, with all the positive stories and coverage (Look at how well he gets along with Democrats in Texas, blah, blah, blah). The debacle on Election Night was more about bad exit polling data and the folly of declaring a winner before the polls had closed. That is why they don't do that anymore.

@nicklebackfan Rrrrright. Kissed his butt by declaring Florida was Gore's before a third of the state was finished voting. Nice try.

@gopconservative78 Oh please, CNN kissed George W. Bush's butt during the 2000 race. They gave him so much preferential coverage and treatment that no other GOP contender had a serious chance. Then they kept it up during the general election campaign. They fell for that whole "compassionate conservative" nonsense and the country is still paying for it.
