Today, President Hu Jintao only speaks of 'safeguarding national security and maintaining harmony and stability in society.' It is not an easy task, when repression is the only weapon known to him and his colleagues.
Peace & Harmony come from bottom of the Heart. & in Tibet speaks only with Guns.
@Rig: I certainly agree with you if you know what happens behind the scene.
"Free Tibet" is a huge complicated international business. Americans and their NGO's have pumped in at least $50 million a year. Tibet Fund $8 million, ICT $15 million, ..., There are 80Tibetan "associations" and over 300 Tibet "support groups",
Lots peopel make living on this business don't care about Tibet history or culture, they even don't know where is Tibet.
Every bits of opportunity they get, they try to push their agenda of making everyday life in Tibet seem as normal as possible when the fact is there is a major campaign of "No Losar" going all over Tibet in memory of those who were brutally killed/tortured/imprisoned/etc by the CCP thugs. This isn't a journalism, this is a mouthpiece for CCP to spit out what isn't meant for information & public awareness but rather propaganda.
