@Densetsu004 Although I am from Hong Kong, I still don't understand some of the words that come out of her mouth, probably because the music overwhelmed her voice.

@Densetsu004 Hi, You are right! Actually all words in Chinese, either Mandarin or Cantonese(in this case Cantonse), have different meanings if we pronounce them in different tones. The singer and the listeners generally wouldn't find that difficult to sing or understand the lyrics. The lyricists would usually use catchy words that are pleasant to the ear to harmonize with the music.

Hey, no offense or anything, but I have a serious question. In Chinese dialogues, don't some words have different meanings depending on what tone they're said in (I know they do this in some other languages, and I heard they did that in Chinese).
And, if so, does that affect how the singer has to use words, or generally affect what they have to do at all while writing a song? Thanks in advance to anybody willing to answer. :)
