@j0c0b This language variant would be related to modern Catalonian. "Embaxata".The {x} would be like the English letters {sh} in "she". Pronunciation of "j" like "j" in English journal . On the other hand, If you are interested in the pronunciation of 16th Century Spanish I can send you an article I published a while ago.
