  • I agree. John Wayne's The Alamo has the finest last battle scene of all movies. No computer generation here.

  • Mr. Muzzybasher13, not at the Alamo the were helping defend Mexico city. Vicente fox went to Ireland Angeles gave an award

  • @Mr1997kawasaki Irish fighting for Mexico???? No, didn't happen. Not at the Alamo. All Mexican troops were from Mexican Army batallions and some militia. All Mexican Natonals. There WERE several Irish fihting with Aamo defnders.I will have tocheck but I tink Ireland and England are the claimed countries of origin that suppied the most defenders.

  • Can someone explain to me y Irish US soldiers were helping Mexico in the war??

  • @itelluwhat1 The Alamo defenders had some Kentucky rifles, which were very accurate and had a range of about 200 yards. The Mexican Army had British Muskets, the Brown Bess, which fired about 3 to 5 balls at once; it's range was only about 75 yards.

  • i doubt those guns that the texans where using had that much accuracy to keep dropping mexican bodies as is predicted in this film

  • what's the matter? have you GotNoBrain? (sorry. just had to post that.)

  • @GringoHunter actually that big freakin' jerkhead idiotic santa anna had to come on the scene and start telling the texans how to live their lives. he lusted after power. one of his quotes was, "Were I made God, I would wish to be something more." his cruelty was so strong, a good percentage of the alamo defenders were mexican rebels against santa anna.
