Hi. I'm a rookie player and am quite pleased that there's an amateur level league here in the UK. As I was able to go along to the nearest team and train with them without being told I'm not a 'superstar'. So it's all good. I was also surprised to see that there are actually what seem like organised leagues in several Euro countries such as Germany, Spain, France, Austria etc, as well as several Scandinavian Countries. I also know there are leagues in South Korea and Japan. It's all good ;-p

Does anyone know any clubs that play American football. I live in London and 16 years old it's hard to find clubs like these since the common sport in England are football

@AirsoftUK2010 Just keep it up I know it's not much as popular there but do it because you love to love the game! maybe someday you'll never know you might be the next house held name on American Football! you'll never know right!

There are several countries where american football is played. It's pretty popular in Japan, they have crowds in the 10,000s to their annual Rice Bowl which matches their Semi-Pro champ with their college champ. They also have done very well in the IFAF world cup, placing in the top 3 in every cup. They got bronze this past year, beating Mexico 17-14 in the 3rd place game and came very close to beating 2nd place Canada in the group stages. It's cool seeing the sport thrive in other countries.

I'm glad to see American football being recognized internationally, especially in places, such as German and England, where Rugby and Football are more prevalent.

My son plays for the London Blitz. I am too old to play anymore (I used to play) so not being good enough to be a coach I film the games.

I have to admit, I'm surprised to find that they play american football outside the US, specially in the UK. What level is this? College or actual profesional league?

Everyone involved in the UK would love to have a Professional League for the sport they love, however, the game can currently only support an Amateur League. A lot of the players are ex UK college (university), where there is a well run and continually expanding league or otherwise just people that wanted to get involved. The game cotinues to grow in the UK and the NFL games at Wembley certainly help to raise the profile.
