So He CAN beat Nadal
&& he was down 2-6 in the first set
if he puts his mind to it he can do sooo much, & he played with ease :)
This is the Roger we're all missing and want back!

One of the few men ever to beat Rafa on Clay. And probably the last. Here he is so overjoyed its almost sad to remember what happened soon after at RR. Here he still thought he had a chance.

Did you want him to say? "Oh...I played so-so...I'm not that proud of myself...I haven't achieved much, really. All these years of hard work and I'm just pretty average..."
Let the guy be proud of himself. Roger has earned it and he has a very healthy amount of confidence. He never says a bad word against another player.

Rafa himself keeps saying that Roger is the best in "the" history (sic). Rafa has apologized every time he has taken the FO title away form Roger. Here Roger said "maybe he was tired and I took advantage of it". To win as much as these two players do, you MUST have self-confidence, so the fact that both are so polite to their main rival is commendable: Two gentlemen and two of the greatest players ever! And now back again together in the final!
