How to change ringtones on sidekick lx

This explains how to assign ringtones to contacts on a sidekick lx. this is not how to make a custome ringtone. just click on phone then menu then settings then general and then click on the ringtone to change.The first thing you do is hit phone then hit menu then settings then click general then scroll down to the ringtone selected in this case it should be T-Jingle click on that then scroll around and find the ringtone you want and then go down after you select your ringtone to new voice mail alert and click on new message and then scroll around to the one you like. to make a ringtone only for a specific contact go to address book then click on a contact then click edit then click the phone number of the person then go down to custom ringtone and scroll around until you find the ringtone you like. this ringtone will only sound for this contact unless you select more than one person with the same ringtone. to make a a text message ringtone go to phone messaging then text messaging then hit menu then settings then click on the new message alert ringtone to change it around. to make it for picture messaging click multi media messaging then menu then settings then general then go down to the new message alert ringtone and change it to make a ringtone for the instant messages go to aol instant messenger click menu then settings then general and then go down to budder alert sign on and then scroll down to door open and change it then go to buddy alert sign on and click on it and scroll to what you wish to make a a ring. and it is basically the same way for other messengers.
