@Thompsonnw Yes. They were simulcasting Fox News Channel's live coverage of the aforementioned Sen. John Glenn space shuttle launch (noted by Macie at the 1:30 mark). It obviously went past the midday news' 12:30 end point.

The noon news on WJW was also anchored by Dave Buckel for many years until he shifted to weekends sometime in the early 80's.

Later in the video we see Mark Spain promoting the 5:00 news. He now reports for First Coast News in Jacksonville, Florida.
