This is the most passionate this lovely voice ever gets. i love every unique sound coming out of his throat here. i can't explain what Bono's singing does to me.

@elevenbass This rare cut has always been my favorite. I originally recorded it in LA on cassette on KLOS radio when Rita Wild played all of the B-sides from the Joshua Tree, shortly after its release. For many years, I couldn't find it anywhere. Then, of course, I got it via the Joshua Tree special release box set a few years back. The lyrical tribute to the blush of first love is, indeed, appealing; but it is the sonic sensation of U2 at their most atmospheric best that still haunts me.

this is the only u2 song that actually leaves me disconsolate. It sounds the way I feel when I'm in the grip of my blackest depressions. It sounds lost and in despair.
