have u had any problems with your CDI box? i know the triples ski-doo made in that year range were bad for that problem i had one and i had to replace 2 of them

im not to sure what a CDI box is but i have had no problems with the sled at all if u could explain what a CDI box is i could let you know

it's tucked in behind ur motor between the airbox somewhere i think or on the right hand side of the motor behind it

o well i have not had any problems with it at all the sled use to flood the plugs alots till it got leaned out properly and since then no problems at all so cant say i have had any problems with the CDI box at all

the CDI box is what controls all your electrical of the sled ,, even the coils to your spark plugs , it's more less like a computer in a car..

A fuckin 1000ccm FOUR STROKE has LESS hp. How many damn times do I need to tell you this?? Do some god damn research and read up on this shit, maybe you`ll understand what Im trying to tell you. How old are you, 13? Jesus

@bliane386 Dude, dont you know anything about snowmobiles? The apex is a _four stroke_, when I say 1000ccm I mean a stock two-stroke engine. They do put out 172hp! The renegade 1000 does, the MachZ 1000 does, even the thundercat 1000 was putting out around 170hp stock.

The new 2010 summit 800 puts out a little over 150hp stock! If you dont know the difference between a two stroke and a four stroke engine, I highly suggest you learn it quick ;p

@bliane386 Dude, I think you misunderstood me! Remember that new stock 600ccm engines puts out over 120hp! Stock 800`s is easy on the 140hp mark stock.. you know that just as well as me :p The 1000ccm stock nowadays all top out at 172hp.. its as easy as that.

I basically said I bet your sled is awesome, and I told you I have a stock 05 800ccm with barely more horsepower than your 600. So chill dude =) Lets go hillclimb!

@bliane386 And myself, I have a 05 Renegade 800 HO, but its stock tho.. I wont mod it, maybe I`ll buy something else and mod it, we`ll see! Its got what.. 143hp stock. It should suffise!
