I made a deeper research to make sure I was saying it right in english and that's how you can call it:
Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), keratitis sicca, xerophthalmia or dry eye syndrome (DES).

This disease is characterized by inadequate tear film protection of the cornea because of either inadequate tear production or abnormal tear film constitution, which results in excessively fast evaporation or premature destruction of the tear film, causing the eyes to get really dry! Can be observed in both humans and some animals.

Use some cotton with physiologic solution( normal saline, 0.90%) to do the cleaning. You don't want to do this more than once a day even though the eyes will get dirty again throughout the day, because we don't want to irritate the surroundings of the eyes. But It's good to clean it in the morning to give the patient some refreshness and to allow them to see better. You can see how Luma bolts in the end... she wants to go out for a walk now that she's feeling and seeing better.

Always care for your pets and love them a lot!!!
