With a donor engine from Ex Midland Red Leyland National BVP763V, 1924 is now almost ready for the road. With only a few body parts to sort out and a few minor mechanical problems to rectify before she is ready for a coat of paint and then hitting the roads of essex once again. This video show's 1924 moving under her own power once again. A 4 strong team worked tirelessly to secure skirt panels and exchange seating along with reinstalling the turbo and lighting systems to this Last EN Leyland National. Enjoy the fine whistling sound which the engine is making a present, although quite why the whistle is so prominent is currently unknown...
Nice one, sounds great. I'm currently restoring a Mk2 National and I understand the hard work involved, well done and good luck.

Hi Rich,
Indeed the hard work is immense with Leyland National's. I've got my own which I'm about to start, this one being owned by a m8 of mine who is going to help do some of the major mechanical work on mine for me.
