Old Barns, Animals & Artifacts.wmv

This clip is a pictorial illustration of old barns and includes many of the "things" that lived with them. As with old acadian (Cajun) homes, these old structures are quickly disappearing. As a young boy, during the 1950's, I spent ( as did most of my cajun friends from Mamou and surrounding areas) hours upon hours playing and exploring "life" inside my grandparents barns (Pine Point and Ville Platte La.) . I spent significantly more time in barns than I did in church. lol
