I see lines. They just don't show up really noticable, because he has either the opacity or flow on the brush turned down low. When I sketch in photoshop..I use a 1 pixel hard round brush, with about 7-9 flow, and about 60 or so opacity.

The next time you do this just use black lines not licht blue I need to get closer to see it
