I like Gilbert, he showed her true love: Ironically, she didn't realize it until near to the end. People had to tell her that Gilbert loved her: before her eye's were opened, & well maybe it is the time of the 1900's, that it just wasn't appropriate for her to show her love towards Gilbert. I believe she loved him since childhood, though she wouldn't admit to it for a long time.
I didn't like Mr. Harris, I thought he used his money & fame to jerk her around. Ya, can't buy love.

I like Gilbert better than Edward actually! But yeah I though Morgan was old. Though in the books he never existed. There was instead this perfect-looking (but boring) guy named Roy Gardner who was Gil's "rival," but of course Anne came to her senses in the end.
