why am i not surprised that the person who made this video is a salafi

mmh this video is shocking and is anti-islamic, as no body will convert to this religion. iknow there alot of shia group, i think this is twelver shia group, which is strongest one. NO WAY WE CAN JUSTIFY THIS AS TEACHING OF ISLAM, and if god is happy about this, then that kind of god will be crazy, infact, prophet forbid any self harm or anything that will harm your body.

This is no way to approach the Shia. I could talk to you all day about this. There are many types of Shia, and you have definetly got the wrong idea about what Shia beliefs really are.

You are talking about taraweeh prayer in general, not whether it be performed in congretion. Right? That's how you expressed it. And the hadith that I gave wasn't from Sahih Bukhari, it was from Sahih Muslim Book 004 Number 1666. And he was angry because he thought that they would think it would be obligatory, so he said go pray it in your homes. Tarwih was practiced by the prophet (may peace be with him), in congretion and also NOT in congretion.

According to this hadith from bukhari he BECAME ANGRY at their insistance that he come out to lead the prayers in the masjid.

So insist on performing bid'a inside the masjid when he clearly stated not to do it!

Since that day???? What day? You're either ignoring or ignorant of your own hadiths. Tarawih prayers was not practiced regularly until the reign of UMAR! In umar's own words it's bid'a, an 'excellent' bid'a at that, as if the complete religion needed something to be added to it!

He came out to them in a state of anger, saying, "You are still insisting (on your deed, i.e. Tarawih prayer in the mosque) that I thought that this prayer (Tarawih) might become obligatory on you. So you people, OFFER THIS PRAYER AT YOUR HOMES, for the best prayer of a person is the one which he offers at home, except the compulsory (congregational) prayer."

Allah's Apostle made a small room (with a palm leaf mat). Allah's Apostle came out (of his house) and prayed in it. Some men came and joined him in his prayer. Then again the next night they came for the prayer, but Allah's Apostle delayed and did not come out to them. So they raised their voices and knocked the door with small stones (to draw his attention). ...

The Prophet (saw) feared that if he consistently prayed Salat Al-Taraweeh in congregation without skipping a night, it would have become mandatory on his Ummah, even while traveling or ill, as are the obligation of the five daily prayers. Since that day, the Sahabah performed Salat Al-Taraweeh regularly, whether it be in small congregations in the Masjid or in their own homes.
