For everyone who misunderstand the reason Marines run from Colors, it has nothing to do with the raising of the flag. You have to be a junior Marine or Sailor to understand, so don't judge.. I remember when I would run from the mess hall to my office before the start of colors. Another thing I think I retarded, saluting to vehicles. Many a time I walk into poles and walls because I am saluting every blue sticker cars. Now that's retarded..

Yup, because we dont need accountability for our gear, right? Thats what they taught us in bootcamp? Just leave our gear where ever at 1:32?

LMFAO this is so effin true. As a grunt for 4 yrs in the USMC, i gotta say this this happens cuz ive done it. and why u might ask..... because it gets redundant. every effin day standing at attention at a flag that means nothing to you at the time. who really matters is the guy left and right of you fighting with you. other REAL AMERICANS. so until you judge me, go join the CORPS and you shall see what i mean
