  • hi dom! did you use reflective or translucent umbrella! thanks!

  • @jjbmxer reflective, so that not too much light spilled onto the background

  • im suprised you dident have them sitting at a desk or something or is that a ceo type pic?

  • @bwinn10 their desks were full of crap, and their chairs looked like shit. sitting at a desk shot works well with a nice big clean desk and a royal looking chair.

  • How did this company find you?

  • @KennyBetterment word of mouth around Edinburgh

  • Hi Dom, I'd just like to say a massive thankyou for all your videos. I'm quite new to photography (around 5 months now) and I'm doing all sorts of different stuff from action to landscapes, portraits to wildlife ect. I'm yet to get myself a strobist set up and I'm waiting until I feel that I have a good grasp on what I need to do with it first in order to get reasonable results. Do you have any experience with yongnuo flash's and radio transmitters? They're a seemingly good option at the moment.

  • whouldn't be better if you had used a bounce fill card to bring the ratio a little bit closer? the shadows are very deep, at least in my opinion.

  • Ha this video is perfect timing I'm doing my first company photoshoot In a week gave good ideas I didn't think of thanks,

  • Interesting photos. They maybe show too much of the personality of each :)

  • Hi Dom. Nice vid and some great portraits. They must have been pleased with these.

I'm guessing that you used a blank wall for the background on this portrait shoot, but do you use those seamless paper backgrounds and stand set ups for other portrait work?

  • THE blond lady didnt have shadow side ? did you use some exter light on her and if so why?

Thanks for this vid it is very helpful.

  • i love how honnest and to the point you are dom breath of fresh air

  • Great tips, never would have thought of a lot of the things you mentioned.

  • @Dombowerphoto

Thanks Dom - keep posting :-)
