What type of applications did you intend to use this for? Was it going to be a plug-in patch or just a playback visualizer?

Its Max/ Msp.

No it snot just a visualizer, really. I'll have video of it in action soon. Its more of an algorithmic music organism.

you use analog outs on arduino from the serial module on msp> but then you need more amps as the arduino goes up to only 40milliamps per pin?, so then to a transistor, then perhaps groups of transistors to feed all the lovely colourful leds? ?

arduino is not fast enough, isn't it?

i m trying to build 4000+ leds, ofcourse its not possible for auduino, but 800 is still crazy!

would u share the source code pls??
