George was just having fun, not being mean at all. Unlike what TMZ reported, Dr. Phil and his wife stayed there for a lot long after the booing incident; they didn't leave right away. But there were escorted by security when they left. His wife was a great sport about it, you can tell she clearly enjoyed the music.

Oh God!! I kinda sorta almost like Dr. Phil a little, but that was freakin' funny! I've never had an opinion either way about George Michaels, but I think I love him now!!!
