Lauren was performing with Boom Chicago, Amsterdam's internationally-known improvisation and sketch comedy theatre, when network executives at Comedy Central Netherlands tapped her to star as their On-the-Street correspondent for CCN: Comedy Central News (Hollands answer to The Daily Show). For her daily segment, Flans on the Street, Lauren travelled across the Netherlands conducting improvised man-on-the-street interviews and fell in love with this particular comedic format. However, after over sixty episodes, Lauren came to realize that the entire country of Holland is approximately the size of New Jersey. That, coupled with a life-long obsession with English comedy, prompted her to head.... West? North? She's never been good with geography; blame the American educational system. The point is, she's touched down in London and teamed up with fellow American film producer / director Jeff Green to produce a Made-4-TV series wherein Lauren gets the lowdown from people on the streets, as only a tiny, loud American with no sense of personal boundaries truly can!
