Thanks, i really agree sdk, Brandon Routh did not really suite the part for superman, and would be alot easier if Tom Welling was Superman and would fit well with the Smallvile!

But then again, it would kind of steel the excitment of the new Smalleville, in which when he is actually Superman! If you understand (it would spoil the suprise!)

And Brandon Routh wasn't bad, sdkjhsdglih. He just did not have enough experience for the roll and honestly did not have enough depth for the character.

But Tom Welling however, has the look, and has the ability to capture the spirit and the esence of Superman, which I have not that kind of talent for the roll since Christopher Reeve, And I certainly hope he will play the role for the rebooted movie in the future, I hope.

@TheGreatZurEnRaah No, I'm sorry, I disagree, he does not suck. Routh may have looked the part but he didn't make the character believable enough and I am not "brainless" or anyone else who thinks otherwise and you didn't have to be such an ignorant dick about it. Welling has kept the show alive and became a better actor in the process and deserves more credit than that and proved season after season he has potential and he's earned the right to be given a chance at least.

@ComicTec Tom Welling sucks and anyone who thinks otherwise is brainless. Have you ever read a Superman Graphic Novel or Comic. Brandon Routh was fantastic he had the look. When I look at Tom Welling I see nothing in his entire being that makes me think "Oh shit if this guy turned evil and wanted to take over the world we'd be fucked." Which is necessary!!!! There needs to be something underneath thats's imposing about Superman which makes us grateful he's on our side. Tom Welling lacks that.

I heard the WB will rebooting the superman franchise, but I really want Tom Welling ot play the role of Supemran, ya know?

Besides, he's been farmiliar with the charater for many years in "Smallville", he looks the part, and he's a wonderful actor

Brandon Routh DID NOT suck. However, it was a gigantic letdown that Tom Welling was not cast. There would have been a total rush for fans if he migrated to the big screen. Tom is the best superman since Chris Reeve RIP.
