Thanks, I'm glad that someone can see that its not entirely about the money. It's about principle. If you let one person walk all over you, everyone will think they can. Especially women trying to take advantage of a friendship.

How much did it cost to even take this case to court? Why all the drama over $150.?

It would normally be like $60 but in addition to the $150 they pay the $60 and you get appearance fees. As for the reason, it was the priciple. I was trying to be nice and she tried to keep my cd player. I called the police but they said I had to take her to court, so I did. I proved my point to her.

Judge Mathis should follow the protocal followed but most judges and refuse to accept an outside witness' statement in the court order. You could have easily have received, in writing, a false statement from a friend or relative. Juxtaposed, you would have lost the case if it were not for that last unjust evidence. You are obviously uneducated and will continue to work for fast food. I am sorry for that.

Maybe you are the uneducated one. How is a witness statement any different from her witness coming there in person and lying in a courtroom. The only difference is that my witness couldnt get a day off from work to go and her witness didnt have a job so she was able to go and get paid the $5 for being an on tv witness.
