The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations kicked off on Tuesday morning to a smooth start in various parts of the country. However, 16 pupils in Mombasa missed the first paper after being found to be missing from the register. More than 700,000 candidates will put pen to paper to test the eight years of hard work.

this scandal of students finding out they cant sit for an exam at the last hour has to be stopped, I share the pain with them and their parents who have worked so hard to get there. haki kuna some really heartless Kenyans out there. anyway good luck to all candidates.
