Original idea for the Laser Sword

I had one prototype of the product and at the E. Joseph Cossman Seminar and he said that I could sell the foreign rights - Gary Brennen - Young Entrepreneur - I went to the movie Star Wars, and when I walked out of the film I thought the toy potential for this movie is going to be so colossal. I walked down Hollywood Blvd. and I pulled into a little sporting goods store, and I picked up a flashlight and the I found a golf tube. So, I took it home to my little rented apartment and I glued it together, and I made a little laser sword. I thought that's a product. I sold the foreign rights for $30,000 dollars to Mexico. It gave me the seed money to start up my company in Los Angeles, and I sold 3 and a half million units.
