Physics and Augmented Reality - Part 1

Physics is the best way in my opinion to prove that a real-time 3D tracking is indeed correct. This video is old stuff actually, you may notice there are no virtual shadows on this one (there are some on other videos) so something is missing but the result is still quite cool, isn't it ?

I understand the image is read from a barcode? How are you able to touch/handle it's contours?

The castle is real. The 3D grey castle is there to show that the computer knows where the castle is in the image at any time.

I have some really good ideas at the moment, some real, some fantasy I admit due to my lack of funding, knowledge and having a team of top 3D Game creators - but the pieces of my puzzle are coming together slowly...Probably will need 3D glasses and wireless headphones as part of my idea, but trying to get away from the need for all that. Need to study all angles more for what really works.

The best sample for AR games is the game for PS3 "EYE PET" it works like that. It has also a magic card to be get scanned by the eye toy cam for some applications ingame.
