@1misanthropist It's called 'Statutory Rape'... The minor is under the age of consent (in this case, the age is 18, and he was 17) and therefore cannot legally give consent for sex. So even if the kid said "yes, I want it." by law it's judged that he or she is not old enough to either understand, or otherwise, give consent. And thus, the adult is taking advantage of them. So he and the teacher might have both deemed it consensual, but the law doesn't.

I find it very hypocritical and ironic that TYT isn't making a big deal about this. Yet when Mark Sanchez hooked up with a 17 year old girl they turned it into an outrage. Seriously this double standard thing is retaded. If a teacher has sex with a student(whether it's a boy or girl)(17 or whatever.) She should be arrested because she's an authority figure. Simple as that.

the question is, what is the age of consent in that state? Typically it is 16. If there is no state law prohibiting student/teacher interactions, then this is a pure ethical violation and she needs to lose her job.
