Now that I know that Bill Bailey is a huge Doctor Who fan, the fact that he's sitting next to the Doctor makes this even better!

I love the smell of new books, but I have a copy of a Tarzan book printed in the 1950's and it's a struggle to read it because I keep sneezing.

No he is actually right. Its the tar in tobacco that is likely to cause cell death inside the lungs, which then metastasis and reproduce into a cancerous mass.

Drugs *are* good for you when used appropriately. If you disagree, then don't consume coffee or alcohol... or cough medicine, Pepto, advil, soda, sleeping pills, antibiotics, chocolate...

As long as our health is affected by stress, recreational drugs have objective health benefits. Even a more hardcore drug like mushrooms objectively improves the user's psychological health. Like any substance, you just need to be aware of the dangers, and pot remains a safer substance than chocolate.

There are less negative effects associated with caffeine and nicotine then with marijuana. As well that marijuana when consumed in seed form is very good for your health, containing omega fatty acids that actively break down harmful cholesterols in the human body. check out the studies done on the effects of different drugs on spider web construction. Ironically LSD which is given one of the worst names caused spiders to create geometrically perfect webs where as caffine they couldnt even finish

Congratulations you found a study saying that inhaling smoke is bad for you. Marijuana is a plant which can be consumed, smoked, vaporized.. It also has many benefits which are proven and continue to be.. The reason we can smoke a cigarette but not a joint is because of tobacco companies and if you think otherwise then you need to do some more research my friend.. Not one death has been directly linked to pot in all written history.. not one.. tobacco kills thousands a year so does alcohol

It's also bullshit because you don't ever need to smoke as much cannabis as you do tobacco. Even if you smoke weed every day, you generally don't need to burn more than a pinch per toke; and even if you did want to get that insanely high, at that volume, you're much better off cooking it or vaporizing, which is totally healthy.
