S2000 vs M3, Z4, Vette, STI

An SCCA Solo2 B Stock spec AP1 S2000 chasing a Dinan Tuned BMW M3, a BMW Z4 3.0i, a modified C5 corvette and a stage 2 Subaru STI.

Because passing is only allowed on the straight, in some cases I had to hold back so that I could maintain a safe distance.

Japan porwer baby? You saw something wrong.You must say American power baby coz Corvette was the first.This race consists of fully deception. Watch carefully at 1:54 M3 on the right is going so slow and letting s2k pass. Same thing is valid for STI when he turned on right flasher.

i can see this is a great track car, but how is it for everyday use? I am debating on a 2005 s2k and a 2006 z4. I want driving pleasure more than anything.

Passing only in the straights is usually for beginner intermediate groups. In advanced, passing us allowed anywhere

Why can you only pass in the straights? That's a clear advantage to the cars with big power and a handicap to the cars faster in the turns. Sounds idiotic to me.
