  • Wow... great job Zach!! Arn't the KidWAlks great. My son Tony also has spastic quadriplegic CP. I was watching all your videos of Zach and our two little men are like twins. It was almost funny to watch.

I was just going to suggest that you might want to try and lock the back wheels of his KidWalk. We did that with Tonys and it really helped him keep his feet straight and not get his legs tangled when he accidentally pushes to the side.

Its really encouraging watching Zachs development!

  • @jay9horton Thanks! The KidWalks are great. The only issue we have with them are they are back heavy so it's hard for Zach, a little 26-pound three-year-old to propel it by himself. But it is very convenient and workable. We'll try the wheel-locking technique, but wouldn't that restrict the walker from moving forward? Zach's major issue is his feet scissoring so I think I have to design something to stay between his knees so they don't lock together.

  • I got tears in my eyes! I'm so happy for Zach! And you Nathan and Renee. He's doing so well. Great job Zach! =)

My son Zayyan Kal-El is 1 yr and 7 months. He still couldn't walk or sit up on his own. But I know we'll get there soon.

  • @charizagonzaga Thank you! Your boy will definitely get there. Zachary was no where near this point at 7-months-old. He's three in this video! It's slow, but sure. He still isn't fully verbal, but again, we learn to be patient with his development. I look forward to hearing more about your Zayyan Kal-El and his development! Cheers to you and your family!

  • I thinks there's a law that all children with handicaps whether they're mental or phsyical that they have to be absolutely adorable. Whish is especially true with Zach.

  • This is wonderful progress. My son is using a Rifton Pacer and he is now taking steps just like Zachary!
