4 trains pass at the intermodal yard. Westbound CSX empty coal train, then an MOVR freight heads eastbound. When it takes the siding, a westbound special excursion train headed up with museum power moves towards the yard, clearing the main for another MOVR freight, powered by 3 ex-NS locomotives.

  • fucking awesome layout dude!

  • @ipkcow Thank you!!....I would figure if you watched all my videos, you may come up with some more you also have one of.

Any questions, feel free to ask!!.....and thanks for watching!!

  • @MOVRMAN have you tried pushing the rail cars down the track? its pretty fun

  • @MrSantafe307 Only for testing purposes. And in this area where it's at the top of a rise, I can check how well a car rolls by rolling it to the right, where it will go down a grade for about 4 feet or so.

    Thanks for watching!!

  • @ipkcow Sorry for the late reply to your question.....but I was out of town.....BUYING MORE COOL TRAINS!!

That is an Atlas Electro-Motive Demonstrator GP7, that lists for around $85 from the company, but IIRC, I paid about $70 for it. It's fairly old, with that run released in 2001.

  • plz reply if i wanted to buy the gp9 from the chesse passenger train how much would it cost?

  • I think that sound came from dispatch to an ambulance, I hear it all the time on my scanner and it always is to an ambulance...

  • Thanks!!

  • Excellent videos!! Keep up the good work.

  • I listen to a radio scanner while working on the layout, listening to 2 law enforcement freqs., the local CSX yard, and a local delivery business.

It's some sort of paging tone, probably the law, as when the railroad tones up the dispatcher about 90 miles downriver, it a much different sound, 2 tones about 2-3 seconds long each, with a distinct break in between.
