He is a very promising singer, with a great sound, and I don't say that easily, since I am not fond of the countertenor voice. I much prefer a full-bodied contralto. However, I would love to hear him sing Or La Tromba. I think he would do a fantastic job.

Is this the Glyndborne production? I'm so jealous of everyone who went to this production. Awesome.
What's the instrument called again accompanying the recit sort of thing between 1:42 and 2:15. Stringed, bowed, chordal instruments with similar timbres to an accordion. Used throughout the piece.
This is William Christie in orchestra right?

Yes this is the Glyndborne produciton although it's E. Haim conducting, not Christie. Dont know the asnwer to the instruments question. Sorry for the late reply. Happy New Year!!!!
