Along the M5 in Devon UK/2

6024 King Edward 1, loco returning with a special alongside the motorway thought to be Feb.95,travelling at a steady speed of 65/70 mph, at the time after Clan Lines 75MPH bash in January, it was rumoured that the King was going to show them 'how to do it', but only a couple of weeks earlier U.S.A.60009 came on tne scene with its blistering run. It appeared possible 'hands' may have been 'smacked'.So Edward took a nonchalent approach.

@mikevalesenior Only just clocked this, The vegetation over the years since this was taken has grown obscuring much of the track, there are still some spaces though and better when the deciduous varieties are without leaf.The camera was mounted in a 'box' fitted to roof bars looking sideways, so my idea was what the I could see, hopefully so did the camera. I will leave you to contemplate the speed required. nice to see that my efforts are watched and enjoyed.
